Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Back Facial.

A full back facial includes consultation, cleansing, steam, exfoliation, extractions if needed, targeted masks, serums, and moisturizing. We finish with SPF recommendation and aftercare advice to maintain clearer, smoother back skin between appointments.

Sessions usually run 45 to 60 minutes, allowing time for deep cleansing, exfoliation, extractions when necessary, treatment masks, and personalized moisturization. Longer sessions may be available for severe congestion or combination treatments.

Most clients experience mild discomfort only during extractions. We use steam, gentle techniques, and topical numbing if needed to minimize pain. Your technician monitors sensitivity and adjusts pressure to keep the treatment comfortable while effectively clearing congestion.

For active congestion or acne, every 4 weeks is recommended until skin improves. For maintenance and smoother skin, scheduling every 6–8 weeks helps prevent buildup. Your esthetician will recommend frequency based on your skin's response.

We advise avoiding back facials on sunburned or recently resurfaced skin. Healing first prevents irritation. Wait until redness subsides and consult your technician if you've had chemical peels, laser, or strong topical prescriptions before booking.

Arrive with clean, dry skin and wear loose clothing that won't rub treated areas. Avoid heavy tanning, vigorous exercise, or harsh exfoliants 24–48 hours before. Inform us about medications or recent treatments to ensure safe, tailored care.
