Most clients enjoy tidy brows for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles and aftercare. Regular treatments can lengthen intervals as hair grows back finer. Maintain results with gentle exfoliation and avoid working hair-removal at home between visits.
Sugaring is typically less painful because the paste adheres to hair not skin and is removed in the direction of growth. Clients often report reduced stinging and fewer ingrown hairs. Topical numbing isn't usually required, but sensitive clients can request extra care.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free brows and about 1/8 to 1/4 inch of hair for optimal removal. Avoid retinoids, waxing, or recent chemical peels for at least two weeks. If you’re on topical prescriptions, let us know beforehand.
Yes — sugar paste can remove shorter regrown hairs better than many methods. For best results, hair should be at least a few millimeters long. If hairs are too short we may recommend waiting a week or using gentle home maintenance until appointment.
Sugaring is usually gentle and suitable for many sensitive or acne-prone skin types because it uses natural ingredients and doesn't stick to skin. We perform a skin assessment and adapt technique; active severe acne may require consultation before treatment.
Keep the area clean and avoid heavy makeup or sun exposure for 24 hours. Use a gentle, non-comedogenic moisturizer and avoid exfoliation for two days. If irritation arises, apply a cool compress or aloe vera and contact us for concerns.
