Get answers to common questions about Sugaring - Stomach.
Trim to about a quarter inch if needed, exfoliate gently two days before, and avoid retinol or sun exposure 48 hours prior. Arrive with clean, dry skin and no heavy lotions to ensure the sugar adheres properly.
Most clients report mild to moderate discomfort that is shorter-lived than strip waxing. Our technique minimizes pain and is gentler on skin. Numbing topical options are available on request for very sensitive clients.
Optimal hair length is about a quarter inch, roughly six millimeters. Too-short hair won't grip the paste; very long hair can be trimmed before treatment. We adjust length for the most effective, comfortable sugar removal on the stomach.
Sugaring is gentle and often recommended for sensitive skin, using food-grade ingredients with minimal irritation. However, we cannot treat sunburned, broken, or inflamed skin. Contact us beforehand if you have skin conditions or concerns.
Wait at least 12 hours before hot baths, heavy sweating, or tanning; cool showers are okay after a couple hours. Avoid exfoliation and active products for 48 hours. Apply soothing lotion or aloe and wear loose clothing.
For maintenance, plan appointments every 4–6 weeks depending on your natural hair growth. Regular sugaring often extends time between sessions as follicles weaken. We'll recommend a personalized schedule after your first visit.
