Get answers to common questions about Full Arm.
Most clients enjoy smooth arms for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles, skin type, and post-care. Regular waxing can lead to finer regrowth and longer intervals between appointments. We recommend scheduling every four to six weeks.
Some discomfort is normal, but experienced estheticians use gentle warming and quick, precise techniques to reduce pain. We can offer soothing post-wax care and discuss numbing options if needed to ensure a comfortable, tailored experience.
Exfoliate gently two to three days before to remove dead skin and prevent ingrown hairs, and avoid moisturizers or oils the day of service. Hair should be about a quarter-inch long. Arrive with clean, dry skin for the best results.
Some medications, like retinoids or certain acne treatments, increase skin sensitivity and risk of damage. Inform us of any topical or oral medications when booking. We may advise postponing waxing or obtaining medical clearance to ensure safety.
Avoid heat, sun exposure, hot showers, and heavy exercise for 24-48 hours. Apply soothing aloe or recommended calming lotions, exfoliate gently after 72 hours, and wear loose clothing to reduce friction. Follow any personalized instructions we provide.
Regular gentle exfoliation, moisturizing, and using products with salicylic or glycolic acid can help prevent ingrown hairs. Avoid picking or shaving between appointments. If ingrowns occur, we offer treatments and advice at your next visit.
